The PRA provided communications support for the Pedaling for Parkinson’s event. This year there were two courses – 10 miles and 40 miles. Amateur Radio is a fantastic solution for maintaining communications throughout the various terrain over the routes.

Dane – KG5SOR & Bill – WØSUN took a quick overnight down to La Veta Pass to active Dane’s barn. They made several contacts while testing out Bill’s new antenna. Temperatures were in the mid 50’s during the day, and remained above freezing overnight.
