The long awaited D-Star University is HERE!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 9th. Starting at 8AM, our very own Kris, AE9S (FKA: KD0YCR) will be leading the instruction. The location is at South Metro Fire Rescue Station #45 on Northgate Drive in Parker. Seating is limited to 20 participants on this go-around. Please plan on at least a half-day commitment with dismissal by 1PM (or sooner).
There are three modules involved in this training; D-Star Basics (what D-Star is, how it works), D-Star Intermediate (programming your radio, linking/unlinking to reflectors, etc.), and D-Star Advanced (Hotspots, Raspberry Pi’s, D-RATS). If you have ever wanted to learn about D-Star, this is one training session you will not want to miss!
Again, seating is limited to 20 participants and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We will also take a “wait-list” in the chance there is a seat cancellation. If you can commit your participation and would like to attend, please email news AT parkerradio DOT org with “D-Star University” in the subject line with your name, email, and callsign in the the body of the email.
See you Saturday, July 9th for D-Star University!
