It is that time of year again where amateur radio operators come together to operate in abnormal situations in less than optimal conditions.  The goal is simple; work as many other stations as possible while operating in these unfamiliar settings.

The Parker Radio Association will be operating as K0PRA in Parker.  We will be using the open field to the south of Southeast Christian Church on S. Wintergreen Parkway.  GPS coordinates are: 39.539188, -104.789915

We plan to meet at the site on Saturday morning, 7:30AM, where setup will begin.  We will be on the air at the start, 12 Noon, and plan to operate for 24-hours.  The more operators, the better…last year’s crew was wiped out by Sunday morning.

So come out, bring a friend, and give yourself an opportunity to learn something new about this great hobby.  You do not need to be a licensed ham in order to participate.  We will be happy to show you the ropes and give you an opportunity to get on the air with one of our great ambassadors.
