This was the feeling as members and guests of the October Monthly Meeting of the Parker Radio Association finished the meeting. Yet again, our club was fortunate to have another great presentation by Randy, W0RDR, on DMR/MotoTrbo technology. We learned about the vast DMR network that we have in Colorado, the nuts and bolts behind the technology, and the cool features that most DMR radios have. A tremendous “Thank You” to Randy for this great presentation and answering all the questions presented. No doubt, there is going to be a spike in DMR usage because of what we learned.
The major announcement made at the meeting was that the Parker Radio Association was granted a 501(c)(3) pubic charity status through the Department of Treasury. The Club Directors were very happy for the quick process involved; a great “Thank You” to Wayne, N0POH, and Jack, WM0G, for their insight and guidance through this process. Our About Us page will be updated in the next day with all official documentation and information regarding this major accomplishment for our Organization.
Great things are happening with your Organization! We remain confident in our mission and resources that we are bringing to our community. Be sure to spread the word of the Parker Radio Association.
