March Meeting Follow Up

The entire gang of the Parker Radio Association has generated awesome momentum and is creating great RF (Radio Fun). We are so fortunate to have such a diverse group of passionate hams (and soon to be hams) that are dedicated to having fun and playing radio while keeping the squelch loose.  A special note of thanks to Southeast Christian Church in Parker for their graciousness and hospitality in allowing us to use their facility for our meeting.

We are VERY happy to report that our membership roster is just about to top 30 members. Not bad for only three meetings so far!

Field Day plans are heating up, along with our D-Star repeater build project. Also, with our website redevelopment and VE testing partnership with ARESDEC, and great monthly programs, there is no wonder why there is great momentum of our Club.  We are also in the discovery process of forming amateur radio classes to support those pursuing their license or an upgrade.

We have a great program for April’s meeting by Randy, W0RDR, on weather and weather spotting.

Having fun, playing radio…learning something, teaching something.  If you can tell a good joke and keep the squelch loose, we’d hope to have you as part of our team.
